Edward D. Williams

Edward is the President & Managing Partner & founder of DEW Financial Management Group, Inc.

Edward has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. Edward holds the Series 7, 9, 10, 63 & 65 registrations with IFP, in addition to Insurance Life & Annuity licenses. Edward has over a decade of experience in the financial services industry with Citi, Smith Barney, and Morgan Stanley. Before coming to the financial services industry Edward had a successful career as a software engineer.

Edward is a member of the National Association of Securities Professional, the Insured Retirement Institute, and the Financial Services Institute. He is the Past Chairman of the South Carolina State University Foundation Board, Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, and Fairfax City Chamber of Commerce and is Past President of the Association of African American Advisors.

He enjoys reading mystery and suspense books and movies, and being active with community organizations. He also enjoys golf, tennis and other team sports. He and his wife Deborah enjoy their grandchildren and they currently reside in Fairfax, Virginia.

Aaron Gilman

Aaron Gilman serves as the Chief Investment Officer for Independent Financial Partners and President of IFP Wealth Management. Conducting analytical research and due diligence for all investment types, portfolio analysis and construction, portfolio management, and directing all activities in IFP’s Wealth Management Group. Aaron serves as head of the IFP Investment Advisory Committee.

Prior to joining IFP, Aaron was a financial advisor for high net worth individuals at Koss Olinger Financial Group in Gainesville, Florida.

Aaron has a BSBA in Finance & Real Estate from University of Florida. He holds licenses and designations as follows: CFA, CFP®, Series 7, Series 24, Series 66 registrations and Florida 2-15: Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance License.

Janie Harris

Janie Harris has successfully achieved a career in the financial, investment and banking industries for over a decade.

After obtaining a degree in Business Management and Computer Science at the Washington Tech (now) the University of District of Columbia, Janie has had a variety of positions climbing the corporate ladder.

She has held positions from Operation's Cashier to Sales Assistant to Sales Associate holding Series 7 to present position as Senior Administrative Assistant.

Janie is the wife of Andre' for over two decades and enjoys her husband, two daughters, two sons, three grands and one great grand.
